Booking Policies

Lessons must be booked and paid for at least 24 hours before the lesson time.

I have a strict cancellation policy and any cancellations must also be made at least 24 hours prior to the lesson time you wish to cancel. If you cancel a lesson within 24 hours of when it was supposed to start, that lesson fee will be forfeited and a refund will not be available.

Similar applies for rescheduling: lesson rescheduling is accepted (and encouraged if you feel like you need it!), however, you must have completed the reschedule through Simplybook.me at least 24 hours before both the old AND new lesson times. Any reschedules made within 24 hours of the original lesson time will be treated as a late cancellation of the original lesson, and the lesson fee will be forfeited.

• • For example: if you are booked for a lesson at 3pm on Friday, you must make any needed changes before 3pm on Thursday. Any changes made after that will result in your lesson fee being forfeited. If rescheduling, the new lesson time must also be at least 24 hours after the time you rescheduled. (So if you’re rescheduling your lesson and it is 10am on Monday, the earliest time you can move your lesson to is 10am on Tuesday.)

  • The sole exception is for emergencies: please contact me ASAP and we'll work something out for your situation.

Lesson schedules are flexible!

All students are free to book lessons at a schedule that best suits them. For some, this may be weekly or every second week; for others, this may be monthly or maybe even occasional one-offs just to check things with me. You’re welcome to book lessons on whatever timeline best suits your needs.

I offer lessons in durations of 30 minutes and 60 minutes, either as singular bookings or in a discounted 4-hour value pack.

• • Though anyone is welcome to pick whichever lesson duration they prefer, I generally recommend beginner and younger students to have 30-minute lessons, and intermediate to advanced students to have 60-minute lessons.

I also offer a discounted booking package that includes four hours’ worth of lessons in either 30- or 60-minute durations. Currently, when booking this package Simplybook.me will require all lessons to be recurring at the same time on a weekly basis. However, it is simple to reschedule these lessons afterwards if you need to do so. (If you encounter difficulties with this, please contact me and I can reschedule them from my end.)

Pricing and policies are subject to change. I maintain the right to decline to teach prospective students, and to discontinue teaching current students.
